How do I add publications to my profile?
There are several different ways to add publications to your profile. Publications are retrieved from PubMed, SwePub, GUP, and Researchweb's own publication database.
It is important to start by adding your work experience before adding your publications. These are linked together so you can see where you worked when the publications were published/conducted.
Go to your profile, click on the "publications" tab and then on "edit publication list".
Synchronize with SwePub (Sweden's largest publication database)
STRONGERED[Recommended!] Since 2017, it has been possible to retrieve publications from SwePub to Researchweb. If you have already synchronized with GUP (University of Gothenburg Publications), you do not need to synchronize with SwePub, as the connection has been automatically transferred. If you want to synchronize with SwePub:
- Click on "Edit publication list/Add publications".
- Click on "Synchronize with SwePub".
- Follow the instructions.
- Done! The system shows how many publications have been retrieved.
Search for my publications
- Click on "search for my publications".
- A list will appear with publications that contain your name as author.
- Click the "filter" button to filter out any that may already be entered.
- Go through the publication list and mark "retrieve publication" for those that are your publications (since there may be others with the same name).
